Description
Research use only
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) comprising the complete 44-amino-acid sequence with an added trans-3-hexenoic acid moiety at the N-terminus to enhance stability and receptor affinity. It selectively stimulates the release of endogenous growth hormone, promoting lipolysis—especially in visceral fat depots making it valuable in metabolic and endocrine research.
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in vials (5 mg). For long-term stability, store at –20 °C. Reconstitute with sterile water or buffer, then aliquot and store at 2–8 °C for short-term use or –20 °C for long-term preservation. Minimize freeze–thaw cycles.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Not a drug, food, or cosmetic.
